"Territorio" explores the theme of masculinity—something we have to navigate from childhood, shaped by rituals, images, and vastly different possibilities. I wanted to spark a conversation about it without creating opposing sides, because it’s not as if Manuel’s character isn’t macho; a very machista side of him emerges when his masculinity is challenged. These are macho characters—one embodies the stereotype, while the other could be seen as the modern macho, who later reveals a deeply outdated side.
